I stepped away from the Sterling Replication Process to work this nice M38 Tank Telescope for the Blaster. It was weeks in the making and I had to learn how to make Optically Clear Lenses...very exciting Project. Making Optically Clear Replica Lenses was probably the most difficult piece of this Project. I am using the same material that Eye Glass Lenses and Car headlight lenses are made with...and following the same process to make them. This is something I have been researching for about a year now and it was nice to finally put the knowledge to work. This was a perfect project for it. Note that the lenses on the 80 year old Sherman Tank Scope were not perfect, and of course a replica of it will not be perfect, but with that said, they still turned out amazing!!! Below are some pictures of the finished scope. All the pieces of the scope were molded separately to ensure the highest level of detail. I believe I am the first person in the world to try this! Really happy with the results!
