Han Solo ESB Belt Accessories

Cylinder Assembly (Version 2)

As with all my Star Wars Props, I am constantly perfecting and improving them. With the ESB Belt Accessories, I wanted to come up with a very unique way to more securely attach the 3 pins on the top of the Cylinder. I believe I have come up with a very "unique design" that will allow the Cylinder Pins to hold up better during "Hard Convention Use". Below are the instructions for assembling the new Version. Assembly instructions begin after you pant the parts and (optionally) weather them. Please make sure to read ALL INSTRUCTIONS prior to starting. As always Please reach out with any questions.

Pre-Install Steps:

Make sure to paint/weather the parts prior to assembly. I always recommend a few light coats of auto body grey primer prior to painting.

There are two sides to the large top Disc. The "bottom" of the Disc, which is the side that is attached to the Cylinder, has 3 indents that are used to seat and secure the Pin heads. The "Top" side of the Disc has the smooth surface. IMPORTANT: Do not paint the 3 indents area on the bottom of the Disc. Reason is that you want to be sure that there is enough room to insert the Pin head and have it sit flush with the disc surface, as this side is the side that gets super glued to the cylinder.

Step 1. Feed the Pins through the Back side of the Cylinder Top Disc.

After the parts are painted and weathered to your liking, assemble the top disc. There are 2 different sides on the Disc. One side has 3 indents on it. This is the bottom, back side, of the Disc, which will be glued to the Cylinder. The Front side is the smooth surface side. Feed the Pins through the holes in the back side of the Disc. There are indents on the back side of the Disc that the Pin heads will fit nicely into. Super Glue each Pin into place ensure each Pin is straight prior to the glue drying. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure the Pin heads and the bottom of the Disc are COMPLETELY flush, as you will need to glue this side to the Cylinder Body.

Step 2. Glue the Disc to the Cylinder.

Once the Pins are glued in and the glue has dried, Super glue the assembled Disc to the top of the Cylinder.

Step 3. Glue the Bottom Disc to the Cylinder.

Once the Top Disc is attached to the Cylinder, Super glue the bottom Disc to the Cylinder.

You are Done!

Let the super glue dry completely...and then Load up your Belt!
As always, I welcome Feedback on this new version. And, if you have any questions, please reach out!
